• Invention

X-spine is built around the creative process and the celebration of invention. Our greatest goal is
to out-think and out-create our competition to deliver uniquely innovative products to the spinal
marketplace. Useful innovations, small and large, have been and will continue to be the cornerstone
of X-spine’s success.

• Integration

Our central design philosophy is one of integration – integrating the screw locking mechanism into
a one-piece cervical plate or integrating a locking cap into a pedicle screw for instance. By reducing
the number of steps, parts, and instruments wherever possible, we streamline the surgery process,
reduce complexity, and eliminate unnecessary costs.

• Intuition

X-spine products are designed to address what surgeons want rather than address what surgeons
do not want. All X-spine products must be intuitive and simple to use without going against the
surgeon’s sensibilities or attempting to alter the surgeon’s technique to match the product.
